Hold Up Joe! Ronda Rousey Requires Nine Stitches On Knuckle, Headed For Knee Scope

UFC women”s bantamweight queen Ronda Rousey picked up her fourth straight UFC title defense earlier tonight in UFC 175’s co-main event with a devastating stoppage over Alexis Davis, however, it came at a cost as she badly cut open her knuckle during the fight.

The champion stopped “Ally-Gator” in just sixteen seconds after rocking her with a crisp right hand before slamming her to the mat with a devastating throw to put her unconscious. Despite hardly breaking a sweat, the champion could be out for quite awhile to heal up.

After the event, at the post-fight press conference, Rousey revealed she had re-opened a cut on her knuckle which hadn’t healed properly after she origianlly ripped it at UFC 168 against Miesha Tate. The champion said the cut has been a problem since then and hasn’t healed, causing the formation of a cyst underneath her knuckle.
