Video: Lyoto Machida’s Brother Chinzo Wins With Highlight Reel Knee At RFA 11

Chinzo Machida is a karate black belt who has only four professional MMA bouts to his name. He also has the huge shadow of his brother, former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida.

However, Chinzo is beginning to make a name for himself, knocking out Brian Wood with an absolutely vicious knee at last night’s RFA 11. The shocking strike came with only seven seconds left in the first round.

The card, which aired live on AXS TV, also featured former Bellator Bantamweight champion Zach “Fun Size” Makovsky dominating Matt Manzanares with his takedowns en route to a clear 50-45 unanimous decision victory for the RFA Flyweight strap.

But the real story of the night was Machida’s knee, which MMA legend Pat Miletich called “the nastiest knee I’ve ever seen in my life, and that’s a lot of fights, trust me.” Check out the full highlights of RFA 11 from AXS TV Fights below:

  • Awesome! Chinzo even looks like a smaller Lyoto! He has that Machida speed as well. Looks like he'll be a force from that vid lol. Maybe even quicker than Lyoto.

  • I'd love to see him in the UFC as he develops.

  • Bam. Pretty bad ***. Doesnt have a solid record but hes just gettin started. Hope he goes far.

  • At 36,too bad he didn't start earlier

    • But his advantage if he keeps winning is having Lyoto as his brother. Familie ties does wonders, look at Pettis' little brother.Nick's brother…ect

  • That Dragon blood though!
