"I say Melendez. Not only is he the reigning Strikeforce champ, but he has won his last 7 fights against some quality guys. Champ vs Champ should always be made when the opportunity arises. Cerrone would like a title shot, but I have a feeling he knows he can't beat Bendo. Bendo has continued to get better every fight and he already beat Cerrone twice. I think Pettis needs a good solid win to get a title shot. He won his last 2 (Though some would say he lost against Stephens) and Lauzon has never really been considered in the title picture. The idea that he has beat Bendo before is appealing, but lets face it it isn't like he dominated him. That fight was pretty even till the last 2 mins and the Showtime kick stole the fight for him. Does that happen again? Not likely."
