No champ in the UFC has faced bigger reached fighters more often than Anderson although Cain has tied that. It has been said all to often that the reason Anderson wins is by reach when all the other champs have more evidence pointing to that aspect favoring them even more so other than Cain.

Anderson has fought at least 3 fighters with a bigger reach than him and a few more with virtually equal reach. Neither GSP or Jones have done the same yet.

Shogun has the same reach as Gus. Brandon Vera had a bit closer but was still 6.5 inches shorter and the closest was the now retired Stephan Bonnar at 4.5 inches shorter. Gus is the norm at 205 not close to Jones.

I just watched Jones in an interview talking about how he wants Alexander Gus because it will prove that it's not just his reach that gets him wins. But then you realize he has 8 inches over Gus. LOL.

I'm not sure what's going on in the WW division, but most of those fights are tailor-made for Georges to win. That said, I believe Maia would beat him if he ever got title shot. I don't think Hendricks has what it takes to beat him. It will be Kos/Georges all over again. Actually, outside of his little jabs, his striking is below average. It may be easier to say than done, but if you already know what Georges is going to do, why not work on your takedown D? To be honest, Georges is not even on the same level as Aldo, let alone Anderson Silva. He has a lot of canadian fans on this site, so it makes perfect sense for them to defend him. I'd do the same thing too if I were them. Have you noticed how much he panics when he gets hit in the face? Well, he was really panicking in the Diaz fight when he was getting hit in the face. At some point, I thought Diaz was going to finish him off. He looked so scared - lol. "
