UFC ups Women’s Bantamweight division with four new fighters

9k=With Ronda Rousey‘s impressive UFC debut win over Liz Carmouche, the big question of who she can fight next arises. True, it’s exciting to see her take down all comers with relentless accuracy, finishing them off in the first round with the same submission, an armbar.

But just how long can that last as an attraction? Maybe it could be for quite some time, or perhaps fans’ allegiance will begin to wane after getting too much of a good thing. News comes today that they are going ahead and doing just that, having added four talented Women’s Bantamweight challengers to the roster according to Bloody Elbow. The first and most recognizable fighter added isformer Strikeforce champ Sarah Kaufman, who is signed to Invicta FC but can somehow fight for both them and the UFC. Unfortunately for her, she suffered the same fate as all of Rousey’s opponents in their Strikeforce title bout last August.

Another fighter on that card coming over is Julie Kedzie, who fought Miesha Tate in an absolute war before being caught in a submission. Kedzie is a talented striker with loads of potential should she keep developing her game effectively.
