UFC Fight Night 43 Weigh-Ins Results: Main & Co-Main Official For New Zealand

Starting at 5 a.m. EST this Saturday morning on Fight Pass, UFC Fight Night 43 from the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand, will test true UFC fans’ allegiance to the promotion’s ambitious global expansion.

The event features a middleweight main event between James Te Huna and Nate Marquardt. Te Huna will cut down to 185 pounds after losing two straight bouts to dangerous competition in Glover Teixeira and “Shogun” Rua.

Marquardt, meanwhile, has lost three straight at welterweight. The former UFC middleweight title challenger was battered by final Strikeforce 170-pound champion Tarec Saffiedine, knocked out by Jake Ellenberger at UFC 158, and then absolutely plastered by Hector Lombard at UFC 166 last October.

Exciting featherweights Charles Oliveira and Hatsu Hioki will also go to war in a pivotal bout for Hioki, who has dropped three in a row after turning down a title shot in 2012.
