UFC Fight Night 36: Ronaldo Souza vs. Francis Carmont Fight Video Highlights

Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Francis Carmont went to war in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 36 in a bout that ultimately saw “Jacare” utilize his all-world Brazilian jiu-jitsu background to lock up an impressive unanimous decision over a game opponent in Carmont.

Although Souza had Carmont’s back on several occasions throughout, Carmont has to be given credit for surviving many potentially fight-ending positions. However, the Georges St. Pierre-trained “Limitless” couldn’t mount much of an offense against the surging “Jacare,” who hass now won six in a row.

Former Strikeforce champ Souza will be in line for a big name fight, quite possibly against Lyoto Machida, the winner of Michael Bisping vs. Tim Kennedy, or even a rematch with the man who took his gold back in 2011, Luke Rockhold (provided Rockhold gets by Tim Boetsch first, of course).
