UFC 171 Adds Rick Story vs. Kelvin Gastelum To Stacked Card

UFC 171 is beginning to look like an absolute blockbuster of a card; headlined by a Welterweight title bout between Robbie Lawler and Johny Hendricks, the card also has some very exciting matches that could potentially provide a front runner for event of the year.

News has broken, via MixedMartialArts.com that TUF 17 winner Kelvin Gastelum will square off with heavy-hitting Rick Story in a Welterweight attraction the very same night. Gastelum beat season favorite Uriah Hall in their finale bout, and has since scored a slick submission win over Brian Melancon.

Story most recently beat Brian Ebersole in a concvincing three round stand off, and will look to improve on a UFC career that has seen him beat Johny Hendricks, Thiago Alves, Dustin Hazelett among others. A win at 171 could spell big things for either man, although at 7-0 Gastelum could well find himself being taken very seriously should he conquer ‘The Horror’.
