Video: West Virginia Heavyweight Craps Pants After Tapping Out

The vast majority of the mixed martial arts (MMA) community may be focused on last Saturday’s (October 3, 205) scintillating light heavyweight tilt between Daniel Cormier and Alexander Gustafsson in the main event of UFC 192, but another noteworthy occurrence took place in a heavyweight bout at a we’ll just say ‘lesser-known’ Ruckus In The Cage show in West Virginia.

In the fight, Daniel Cooper was dominating Travis Wolford with ground strikes before he sunk in a guillotine choke that forced the tap.

But that’s when things got weird.

Right when Cooper consoled his fallen opponent, Wolford laid there with crap in his shorts before slowly getting up to soil the cage canvas with a steady flow of excrement. Cooper and the referee quickly exited the cage, and fans nearby can be heard coughing with disgust as they tried to avoid throwing up. Watch the gruesome scene above.

As for the unlikely scenario, Ruckus In The Cage promoter Chris Smith detailed the ‘shitty’ situation to Bloody Elbow, noting that Wolford simply ate too much hot chili before the fight and wants to get back in the cage next month to prove it was a fluke:

“Everyone is still talking about it. Never seen anything this gross in my entire career of promoting fights but shit happens and could happen to anyone. Daniel Cooper literally beat the crap out of “The Brown Bomber” Travis Wolford in Ruckus in the Cage in Beckley Oct. 3. Before the fights started he went to Chili Night and ate some hot chili. During his bout he had a colossal explosion where chili beans and everything he ate landed all over the mat. Says he instantly lost 15 pounds…. Plans on fighting November 13 in Summersville to prove that it was just an accident. Any takers???”
