Video: Ronda Rousey’s Carl’s Jr. Ad Is Here

UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey continues to be MMA’s clear frontrunner in terms of overall media exposure.

Despite the reportedly massive pay-per-view (PPV) numbers for her thrilling 34-second victory over Bethe Correia at UFC 190, ‘Rowdy’ hasn’t been receiving the most positive types of publicity, however.

Her seemingly daily back-and-forth battle with boxing champ Floyd Mayweather has become a tiring, drawn-out saga where ‘Money’ insists that Rousey is only trying to get publicity, and her rumored relationship with accused wife beater Travis Browne is drawing similar backlash.

Yet the transcendent women’s star continues to grow in mass appeal regardless, and today (Fri., August 28, 2015) her highly publicized first commercial for fast food company Carl’s Jr. made its debut.

In the above video, Rousey is seen seductively ingesting a breakfast sandwich that has a whopping 580 calories, 34 grams of fat, 15 grams of saturated fat, 1110 milligrams of sodium, and 50 grams of carbohydrates, among other things.

It’s hard to imagine a fighter that is known for cutting a large amount of weight to make the bantamweight limit of 135 pounds eating such an indulgent meal devoid of the nutrition that a world-class athlete’s body requires, but hey, the masses will believe anything, I suppose. What are your thoughts on Rousey’s latest endorsement?
