Former interim UFC welterweight champion Carlos Condit will finally return to the Octagon in Goiania, Brazil, this weekend (Sat., May 30, 2015) when he clashes with fellow former GSP victim Thiago ‘The Pitbull’ Alves in the main event of UFC Fight Night 67.

‘The Natural Born Killer’ has been out of action since UFC 171 in March 2014, where he sustained a brutal torn ACL in the second round of his TKO loss to Tyron Woodley. The loss was Condit’s third in his last four fights, as he dropped a pair of previous contests to the best of the division, St. Pierre and Johny Hendricks.

Yet Condit is still ranked at no. 4 in the stacked weight class, and sandwiched in between his recent string of losses was his impressive fourth round finish of former veteran contender and current Tam Alpha Male head coach Martin ‘The Hitman’ Kampmann at August 2013’s UFC Fight Night 27. Re-live the brilliance of Condit’s vicious kickboxing above heading into his comeback slugfest against Alves.
