Joanna Jedrzejczyk On Valerie Letourneau: ‘She’s A F***ing Pretender’

Joanna Jedrzejczyk vs. Valerie Letourneau

Joanna Jedrzejczyk (10-0) is set to fight Valerie Letourneau (8-3) at UFC 193 for the women’s strawweight championship. During the UFC 193 open workouts, Jedrzejczyk explained that she believes her opponent is a pretender after they faced off at the UFC’s “Go Big” presser a few months back.

I saw in the eyes of Valerie that she was pretending to be tough. I thought… “F *** – **, this girl is pretending After I met again in Australia, and I could see in her eyes she already scared, believe But it will be a real war – she said.

Jedrzejczyk is currently undefeated and in her last five bouts, she has finished three of them by knockout.

To the credit of Letourneau, she does have an impressive MMA record. Letourneau is currently on a four-fight winning streak. In his last five bouts, she’s 4-1. She lost to Claudia Gadelha at in April of 2012 by split decision before ripping off four straight wins. She beat Jordan Moore at AFC 21 by first-round TKO, Elizabeth Phillips at UFC 174 by split decision, Jessica Rakoczy at UFC 186 by unanimous decision, and then Maryna Moroz at UFC Fight Night 74 by unanimous decision.

UFC 193 will be held on November 14, 2015 (in the U.S) from Melbourne, Australia at Etihad Stadium.

Letourneau will have her chance to prove the champion wrong when they meet in the octagon.
