UFC Fight Night 70 is set to go down on June 27, 2015 from the Ginasio do Ibirapuera in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The event will host the finale of The Ultimate Fighter Brazil and it looks as if the promotion has also found its main event for the card.

Combate has reported that Brazilian Erick Silva is supposedly set to face off with No. 11-ranked Rick “The Horror” Story in the main event of the evening. This could be a very entertaining bout between two established and surging 170-pounders.

A veteran of the sport, “The Horror” is currently riding a two-fight winning streak, most recently taking out highly touted prospect Gunnar Nelson with a split-decision victory in the main event of UFC Fight Night 53 last October. Prior to that, Story scored a second-round submission win over Leonardo Mafra at UFC Fight Night 45 last June. He will look to extend his winning streak come June, and possibly break into the welterweight top 10.

Silva on the other hand is on a two-fight winning spree as well. He was last seen starching ageing veteran Josh Koscheck last month at UFC Fight Night 62, scoring a first-round submission stoppage. Before meeting Koscheck, Silva secured another first-round submission victory over Mike Rhodes at UFC Fight Night 58 last December. The Brazilian will look to extend his streak as well, and hopefully break into the 170-pound rankings.

Which combatant will score his third straight win in Brazil? Will Silva thrive in his native country, or will “The Horror” spoil his opponent’s coming home party?
