Dustin Poirier: I Hope Conor Wins So I Can Beat His A–

No. 6-ranked UFC featherweight Dustin Poirier isn’t usually known for talking trash. But that all goes out the window when polarizing Irish bad boy Conor McGregor gets thrown in the mix.

It’s far from a secret that “Notorious” has called out each and every top featherweight in an effort to get his name thrown into a crowded title picture, and Poirier is no exception. McGregor recently called the Louisianan a “pea head” amongst other things, and today, “Diamond” has apparently taken offense to it.

He took to Twitter to voice the fact that he’s rooting for McGregor to win so he can humble “Notorious” in the near future:

It sounds like the gloves are off, and Poirier didn’t stop there. Noting that McGregor doesn’t deserve to fight him before taking a jab at the growing legions of McGregor fans:

McGregor’s beefs with Poirier and No. 3-ranked featherweight Cub Swanson are in full effect, but the rising star still has to get by Diego Brandao in the main event of tomorrow’s (Sat., July 19 2014) UFC Fight Night 46 from Dublin, Ireland.
