Invicta FC featherweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino is set to fight Daria Ibragimova in the main event of Invicta FC 15 and will be fighting at featherweight. In a recent interview with Yahoo Sports, Justino gave her thoughts about a potential Ronda Rousey fight. According to Justino, she still wants a fight with the former UFC women’s bantamweight champion, but wants her at her best and not a shell of herself.

“Do I still want to fight Ronda? Of course! However, if she wants to be the best she needs to beat the best, and that’s me at my best, not a depleted mirror of myself – which is what she is hoping for by forcing me to 135.”

Originally, she was going to fight at 140lbs in an attempt to make it to 135lbs for a possible fight with Rousey. That was changed after Rousey lost to Holly Holm at UFC 193.

Justino feels that the fans still want to see this fight be made. However, she made it clear that she is not chasing after Rousey for a fight anymore.

“I hope [a fight with Rousey happens] for the fans. But if she was running from me before the loss, imagine how much faster she will be running from me now. I’m not chasing her anymore. After all, didn’t she say ‘You come to the champ?’ I have been a world champion for 10 years!”
