In the wake of the devastating injuries to headliners Frank Mir and Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold, Strikeforce has been forced to cancel its proposed November 3rd event as suspected. With rumors circling abound that the promotion would soon fold, speculation may prove to be true. Sources report Strikeforce done on Showtime and in danger of folding

Recently "Inside MMA" has reported that the television deal in place between Strikeforce and Showtime has fallen out. When the entire card featuring Gilbert Milendez's title bout with Pat Healy was cancelled, bad news seemed to be on the horizon. Recently Strikeforce World Heavyweight Grand Prix winner Daniel Cormier has found himself in the news a lot due to his November 3rd fight rapidly approaching, with no opponent named. After Frank Mir endured a knee injury that forced him to withdraw, it was reported last weekend that Matt Mitrione as offered the bout with Cormier but turned down the UFC's offer to go to Strikeforce. Gilbert Milendez injured, Saturday's entire Strikeforce card canceled

Perhaps there is no end to the injuries plaguing MMA, as early brings the finding that Strikeforce Lightweight champion Gilbert Milendez has been injured and is out of his title fight with Pat Healy.
