He beat Cruz when Cruz was still 145 and it was his debut, he simply got over powered but if they have a rematch it is going to be a completely different fight then the first I think, but it is Faber we are talking about he has as good as a chance as anybody else
I think he needs a couple of fights under his belt before title shot but I don't doubt he can get the belt. To Urhype, I do not think he did very bad against Aldo in the first round but he himself said he did not have a gameplan that thought so seriously about the leg kicks and I think he could regroup and if anyone has a good chance against Aldo it would have been Faber at 145. Aldo is amazing but I am in the belief that Faber if he worked on his mistakes could do better than he did in their first match.

Comon Faber, lets see you win some fights first. So how exactly did you correct what was wrong in your game against Aldo?
Did you learn a new stradegy to nullify leg kicks? or are you simply fighting another division because you didnt want the challenge?
A title shot....HAHAHA Maybe if you actually win first XD
He would have to beat Mizugaki and then either Torres, Benavedez or Jorgeson or how ever you spell there names
Faber is still a top guy and hes already beaten the champ among other high level guys so how people write him off so quick puzzles me

lets wait and see, if only if he beats Mizugaki he should get Torres or Bowles then talk about the title.
Ican see him getting a title shot if he wins.
The UFC would probably want Faber to be the face of the Bantamweight division.

I think hes going to take it to Mizugaki...he wrestled around 135 in college so its his optimal weight. I see him taking the title sooner or later.
