I've yet to hear anyone really call him on the real reason for the weight cut. It's like the Emperor Has No Cloths- everyone knows he cut weight to avoid another ass pounding at 145. Sheesh- just be a man (even if you look like a child) and fess up already, people would respect you more.
yeah he says that he stay on 145 cause of the title contention oportunities.....until brown and aldo showed up. we all know that he was feeling good cause he ran that division for a long time, that is until some real mother****ers showed up and put him in his place, the guy is a good fighter but not as good as everybody tries to make him out to be.
oh.. and that chad mendes fight him talking about "feeding teeth" yeah right we know hes just gonna put another boring ass fight as usual.
Be a man hey, there is hardly a better example of being a man than Urijah, he never gives up and always takes it to his oponents. It may be embarrassing to admit defeat to aldo but he is much smaller than Aldo so no shame in it anyway. He may have an annoying attitude to some people but he is about as legit as they come.
I agree that faber is probably avoiding Aldo but He did better than anybody else in that division against him. Brown got his punchers chance in the first fight and in the second Faber nearly stopped him in the 4th having broken hands. I believe the fights with brown were circumstantial and not clinical. Faber is about as good as it gets after Aldo and he is smaller than most of the guys at 145 too so he is definetly showing his p4p ability in doing second best in the division above his normal weight.
