Matt Hominick, Yves Jabouin, Eddie Wineland and Josh Grispi get $10K bonuses at WEC 49

World Extreme Cagefighting fighters Matt Hominick, Yves Jabouin, Eddie Wineland and Josh Grispi each earned 10,000 dollar bonus for their performances at the promotion's first international event WEC 49. The fight card took place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada to to the eyes of entertained spectators at the famous Rexall Place.

Canada's own Matt Hominick and Yves Jabouin got the Fight of the Night award for their intense performance in the co-main event of the night, as the young prospect Josh Grispi continued his amazing streak with a victory over L.C. Davis with a Submission of the Night Guillotine Choke. Eddie Wineland got the well-earned Knockout of the Night for his TKO victory over the Mexican veteran Will Campuzano.

Next World Extreme Cagefighting attraction will be the long-anticipated WEC 50, headlined by the Cruz vs Benavidez Bantamweight title fight and Urijah Faber's bout against Takeya Mizugaki. WEC 49 will take place at the Pearl at The Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 18th.
