Since being cut from the UFC earlier this month former title challenger Jon Fitch has signed with World series of fighting on a 4 fight contract. Although the cut last month came as a shock to most of us, Fitch has stated that he felt it coming. During his time in the UFC Fitch compiled an impressive record of 14 wins, 3 losses, and 1 draw. Although many fans argued that his 'lay and pray' approach to MMA fighting was somewhat boring, Fitch was most certainly around the top 10 when he was cut.

Since Fitch was cut, UFC president Dana White has stated the reason behind the cutting as Fitch being "Too expensive".  In a recent interview with Bas Rutten, Fitch broke his silence on being cut from the UFC and his future in MMA.

    Good for Jon!

I'm looking forward to seeing him dominate some new faces on his way back to the UFC.

Hopefully he's given the respect and money he deserves when he returns.
