Theres a language barrier still slightly visible and if he believes in God, thats fine. You might see things differently if you found out a day before one of your fights, that your kidknapped sister was killed. He still went on to fight that night, then flew back home right after.

First of all they only claim Jesus is there for them and helps them to do well and when they lose its part of life and Jesus helps them then too. It says love you enemies and do good to those who persecute you as he did. I think if you spent a little more time studying the bible you will find that it may not convince you to adhere to it but you would see it is certainly not telling anyone to be crazy.

Vitor has faced some adversity and very hard times in his life (his sister getting kid napped for one), and if his religion can help him rise above and find hope wherever he goes than that's great.
