Urijah Faber thinks he or Chad Mendes should fight Frankie Edgar at UFC 153

Team Alpha Male Leader Urijah Faber has spoken out on Twitter, calling for either he or his teammate Chad Mendes, who spoke up as well, to be the man to replace Featherweight champ Aldo:

Do you think either of these would be a good fight to make? Faber has been on a snide of late in big fights, and we all know what happened to Chad Mendes when he faced off against Aldo in Brazil last January. One thing is for certain, the injuries plaguing UFC cards have become epidemic, and are starting to get ridiculous. Aldo versus Edgar was a huge bout, a long-awaited one, but Edgar-Faber or Edgar-Mendes are hardly event-headlining blockbusters. Will we see an Interim championship created at 145 lbs.?

Sure let Frankie end this asschinned homo's career. Urijah you are past your prime bud. Frankie would destroy you or Mendes for fun. Frankie has no reason to fight either one of those ****s. His best bet is to look for a contender fight at 155.

Frankie has being making the changes in his lifestyle, diet and training to accommodate his move to 145.
People thought he was too small and didn't have enough power at 155 but after losing size he will have less.
IMO not fair asking Frankie to fight at LW at 153, chance of him losing to a guy he normally wouldn't.. Only because he is even smaller

Frankie is a natural 154 fighter, meaning he will only lose the 10 pounds he needs on water meaning he only needs to sweat that weight on the sauna and running.
by the time of the fight he will be again 154.
On the Faber subject i think it would be a great fight... for Frankie
because Faber has no idea what hes getting into. Frankie has beat more skill and bigger guys like B.J , Maynard and Henderson( rematch). while Faber biggest win in the last years is Brian Bowles.

chad mendez hell no because his tko over cody mckenzie wasnt impressive, but faber has a name with a reputation and jung is a complete fighter, jung could beat faber and mendez in my opinion, and KOd hominick, aldo couldnt do that
I heard KZ is injured otherwise he would be #1 choice
have Barrao take the fight with Edgar - he is from Brazil after all.
Not sure though if the time is enough for him to gain weight

I saw Urijah asking for the.fight on Twitter as soon as he heard.... You know wht Dana has been saying lately about guys willing to step up - they usually get it.
KZ would be best choice but I think he may be injured or something, if not then has to be Faber for me - only guy who is available to fight Frankie that can make the main event fight big enough carry the card... seeing as it will need to now tht Belfort, Belcher and Rampage have left the undercard empty
Any of these would be a great warm up fight for Edgar.
moving down after a a loss and brutal leg kicks was rough for edgar but this would be way better for Edgar to prepare for aldo!
Not sure what is going to happen here but no way in hell does Edgar deserve an interim belt shot, just for moving down weight classes. He hasn't earned sh*t.
