Ultimate Fight Night 29 Post-Fight Press Conference

In the advent of some telling fights, the UFC post-fight presser (as begins) will endeavour to answer many of the questions that fans are left with, post the rendering of verdict and outcomes.

For many fans, it was perhaps a ho-hum affair. For others, it (may have) satiated whatever ground-war controversies that might have raged, within their minds.

In reflection upon the card as a whole, it might be a pass. However, it did, nonetheless, answer a number of questions regarding the 170 pound division.

As they say, the reality of the outcomes is always better than anything that could be manufactured. I think many of us had questions surrounding the ground fighters. It's similar to the game of chess, one different move by either opponent can totally change the outcome. Who knows, if Jake ad demian fought again, it could have a different outcome.

This was the type of card that noone will really be talking about in a weeks time. The welterweight division is now waiting upon Johhny Hendricks who I believe will be outclassed by GSP. People talk about the left hand but GSp is methodical and the most intelligent fighter out there right now. His game plan is amazing, his trainers are world class. Can he get caught yes, but chances are his training will address this. I personally think there is a window of opportunity for Nick Diaz right now after Hendricks.
