UFC Fight Night 40 Salaries: Matt Brown, Ed Herman Lead $680,000 Payroll

The full list of disclosed payouts for last Saturday night’s (May 10, 2014) UFC Fight Night 40 has been released by MMA Junkie today.

Surging welterweight Matt “The Immortal” Brown lead the pack with an $82,000 salary for his rousing third round TKO finish of a very game challenger in Erick Silva.

Brown also earned $100,000 for both of his “Fight of the Night” and “Performance of the Night” bonuses, making his haul total a cool $182,000.

After nearly finishing off Brown with a relentless assault of body shots in the first round, Silva succumbed to the endless pressure of Brown’s Muay Thai. For his efforts, Silva banked $22,000.

The night’s second biggest earner was Ed “Short Fuse” Herman, who took home $80,000 for his decision win over Rafael Natal in his 16th UFC fight.

The total disclosed payroll for UFC Fight Night 40 was $680,000.
