UFC 170: Rousey vs. McMann Extended Preview

Airing live this Saturday, February 22, 2014, from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, UFC 170 is fast approaching. Featuring a pivotal women’s bantamweight title tilt between champion Ronda Rousey and challenger Sara McMann as the main event, the bout will mark the first time that two Olympic medal winners have ever squared off in the Octagon

Rousey is making an incredibly quick turnaround after submitting archrival Miesha Tate for a second time at UFC 168 last December 28. Dana White was quick to announce “Rowdy’s” next fight after the event, to which Rousey was happy to oblige:

“Dana told me that he would need me to fight again at the end of February. I told him I would fight any bitch he wants in February.”

With at least three huge movie roles on the horizon, Rousey may need to get her fighting done quickly so she can move onto the glitz and glamour of the Hollywood scene.

But that doesn’t mean she still isn’t the baddest woman on the planet. Rousey’s striking has reportedly progressed to a new level, something that could definitely come into play in a big way at UFC 170.

And despite the undefeated McMann not being one for trash talk, she may just be Rousey’s toughest opponent. Check out this extended preview from the Ultimate Fighting Championship and let us know if you think McMann has any chance of dethroning the dominant queen:
