UFC 168 Injury List: Silva And Four Others Face Six Month Suspensions

UFC 168 went down in Las Vegas this past weekend, in case you missed it, and it was quite a night of action. Ronda Rousey and Miesha Tate stole the limelight with a barn burner of a fight, before Anderson Silva snapped his leg in brutal fashion against Chris Weidman.

Josh Barnett fell victim to a barrage of savage elbows while attempting a takedown against Travis Browne, causing their Heavyweight scrap to be halted just one minute in. The toll of that fight on Barnett is yet to be heard fully, but it looks like he requires facial surgery.

All in all, 168 was a pretty brutal night on it’s combatants. Check out the full suspensions list below, and realise that William Macario could be out longer than Anderson Silva. Macario suffered what appeared to be a broken hand, courtesy of Bobby Voelker’s iron face, and could potentially be out for six months no contact. Silva’s 3-6 month forcasted lay off doesn’t seem so bad after all.
