Video: Conor McGregor Trains At TUF Gym To Face Chad Mendes

The “Notorious” Conor McGregor has risen to stardom over the past few years, albeit possibly more due to his trash talk than due to his knockouts, which are devastating to say the least, and will finally get the chance to fight for UFC gold at this weekend’s (July 11, 2015) UFC 189 from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Although he was originally scheduled to face off with the undisputed champion in Jose Aldo, McGregor will now fight No. 1-contender Chad Mendes for the interim title after Aldo pulled out with a rib injury. Aldo vs. McGregor was slated to be the biggest fight of the year, but the card remains a huge one as thousands and thousands of passionate Irish fans will make the trip to Las Vegas to see their hometown hero.
