Former teammates Donald Cerrone and Melvin Guillard met in the co-main event of UFC 150 in Denver, Colorado.

This match-up promises Fight of the Night action, and it truly delivered.

Guillard opened with a strong left hook that stunned Donald Cerrone. The Young Assassin was looking to finish the fight with knees and punching combinations, but Cerrone survived the onslaught to come back in fashion.

Cowboy's head kick wobbled Melvin Guillard, who was already half-KO'd on his feet. Cerrone followed-up with a punch to finish the fight at 1:16 minute mark.

Donald Cerrone is now 19-4 in his Mixed Martial Arts career, 6-1 inside the Octagon. Cowboy is expected to fight Anthony Pettis next.

Melvin "Mr. Inconsistent" Guillard. I said it before, and I will say it again, Guillard is his own worst enemy. OVERCONFIDENCE gets you nowhere.

what makes you think he was over confident? I'm pretty sure Cowboy was the 1 overconfident. Im pretty sure Guillard actually was doubting himself up until he rocked Cerrone and then may have felt an insane rush to try and finish right there. what about this fight made him inconsistent? he's fighting top guy after top guy and unless you're THE top guy you're going to lose. doesn't make him inconsistent it makes him not the champion

Guillard smelled blood & he went for it. He just got caught. Hate to see Melvin get KO'd but you've got to love his killer instinct. Especially if you sat through the Shields - Herman fight.
