UFC 149 fight card participants gathered at Flames Central in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, to discuss this Saturday's event. The event is headlined by the Interim UFC Bantamweight title fight between Urijah Faber and Renan Barao, while Hector Lombard and Tim Boetsch battle it out in the co-main event. Also on the card, Octagon veteran Cheick Kongo takes on the up-and-coming heavyweight star Shawn Jordan.

UFC 149: Faber vs. Barao is the first ever Ultimate Fighting Championship fight card in Alberta, Canada. The event on Saturday night will take place at the 19,289-capable Scotiabank Saddledome. According to UFC officials, the demand for tickets is still high, despite the injury plague that caused no less than 10 changes to UFC 149 line-up.

The press conference is hosted by the UFC President Dana White, featuring Hector Lombard, Tim Boetsch, Cheick Kongo, Shawn Jordan, Renan Baraio, Urijah Faber, and Brian Ebersole.

115 would literally be midgets. A cruiserweight division would be good, but the heavyweight division is only just starting to look deep, no need to thin it out

Not a fan of the 115 idea, cruiser weight should be made first. FLW was just made and has roughly ten guys in it, think how shallow 115 would be.

Before I see 115 I would like to think female BW should get in first. Dana critiques the female divisions but female BW probably has a better top 10 and definitely top 5 than male FLW.

Barao seems noticeably bigger than Faber. I think Faber will win if he gats to round 3 otherwise I feel Barao will win. If Faber pulls this off convincingly He will be champ and If Barao does convincingly he will be champ. If it is a hard fought battle by split decision then Domick may be able to keep his belt.
