That reason is his "rough" upbringing on the streets of West Linn, Oregon, where he was subject to such atrocites as littering and jaywalking. He even had to endure more than one year where his father barlely made $100,000, and was permanently scarred by his twin neighbors having to share a Mercedes. Describing the environment as "chaos" and "anarchy," this could be one of the funniest Chael Sonnen tirades ever shown, and there is certainly no shortage. Like him or not, Chael P. Sonnen is one of the most outspoken, humorous athletes in all of sports today. Sonnen's mainstream exposure will increase exponentially on Saturday if he can find a way to beat legendary champion Anderson Silva.

To me, Chael fans are more like WWE fans seeking entertainment, (which there is nothing wrong with)
Where as Anderson fans are more combat sport purists.

I see Anderson Silva fans as the WWE fans who were last to figure out it was fake.
They take everything Chael says literally and cant understand that he is not serious a lot of times.
Jay-Z has nothing on Sonnens life of hardknocks! Damn with all that j-walking and littering that went on it's hard to believe he grew up such a stable guy.
For a comedian, he's a damn good fighter...for a fighter, he's not a bad comedian.
I love this guy. I don't admire him, I don't think he's role model and even though he has a chance to beat Silva, he's not as good a fighter.
And it's nothing like WWE because he really has to fight one of the best MMA guys who ever lived, after talking all that crap. That's entertainment!
Most MMA fighters say the same boring crap that all athletes do, so they don't annoy people and can get sponsors, make a living etc.
Which is fine. You wouldn't want dozens of guys like Chael, but the sport would be less interesting without one of him.
