Twitter Frenzy: Dan Henderson out of UFC 151 fight with Jon Jones?

Latest rumors on Twitter suggest that Dan Henderson was injured in training, and will not be fight-fit to face Jon Jones at UFC 151.

Henderson himself unintentionally denied the rumors, tweeting about the "great training" he had with Tarec Saffiedine, Luke Rockhold and Cyrille Diabate. Interestingly enough, Saffiedine stated on his Twitter that he didn't see Henderson since last Saturday's Strikeforce card in San Diego, California.

Finally, Kenny Florian's Tweet promised a disappointing announcement "due to some unfortunate circumstances for an upcoming card".

Confused? Welcome to the club. Stay tuned to LowKick.com for more on Dan Henderson's injury rumors.

Yeah here is what Karyn Bryant from MMa heat posted on her youtube page and I do not see her putting up false info this sucks

"'m very disappointed to report: Hendo is hurt, so UFC 151 has been cancelled. Dana called it "an all-time low" for the UFC. Chael agreed to fight Jones, but the Champ turned down the fight. Greg Jackson told Jones it "would be the biggest mistake of your career" to fight Chael on 8 days' notice. Dana called Greg a "sport killer." UFC 152 is now UFC 151 and will feature Jones vs Machida in Toronto. WOW!"

I hope this is a joke or a crazy plan that Dan is using to throw off J.J.

Just before Hendo tweeted that Tarec tweeted he hadn't seen Hendo in months so something is obviously up.

I followed it all night but the conclusionso far seems to be that Thierry Sokoudjou injured Dan's knee yesterday in training but he is going to fight no matter how injured he is - apparently it is bad enough he is wearing a brace).

Multiple things pointing towards the injury, including his BJJ coach tweeting it was a bad day with a hard decision to be made.

I think it is quite obvious that Hendo tried to play it down so that it wouldn't be another big advantage to Jones, who already had the range advantage which will be increased if Hendo's knee is jacked.

Hendo was being given little hope and will get even less now but at least he is going through with it.

I started to write that 'if you are right then Jones is going to attack the leg' and then it came to me...ah, Henderson want this to look suspicious. Henderson has been working on the take down off of the leg kick.

It all makes sense now. Henderson will have a very hard time getting inside of Jones's reach and so has been working the take down off of the leg kick.

I gave you a cool as it's a good theory but I really doubt Henderson would bother with these techniques, his techniques are pretty much punching the other guy in the head

great idea, but if you and others can figure that out, i am sure jones can, and if jones can and dan knows that, then it is pointless for dan to even fake an injury to get jones to do that, as the rule goes of he knows what i know what you know that he said she said , leads back to point 1...no deception.

This really sucks for the fans, however it may be the best thing for Dan's sake. Whether if he is 500% healthy on Steroids / TRT / or not, Dan will get demolished regardless if the fight takes place.

Hold on now everybody, don't act like the projector screen broke at the theater. We don't know what's going on for real at this point, but I'm feeling the suspense quite heavy, that's for sure.

If this was Jones being injured you can be sure he would be getting called scared and all kinds of names.

After the way he and his manager contradicted the circumstances of the ''hand injury'' I'd expect that.

jon jones just cost the ufc a shit ton of money. not only do they refund the tickets but they most likely will have to pay off the fighters who were supposed to fight. if the champion refuses to defend the belt they shouldn't be champion. STRIP JONES OF THE TITLE
