As Women's MMA continues to gain more and more popularity, the UFC looks to make it explode in a big way with the advent of the groundbreaking next season of TUF. It's definitely not without controversy, as the show will be the first to feature both male and female fighters. Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano will serve as coaches on the show, and culminate the season with Rousey's second UFC title defense.

The tryouts for TUF 18 took place this week in Las Vegas, and MMA Fighting was on hand to introduce many of the female fighters hopeful for a spot. There are many stances and points of view on the much-discussed TUF 18. Will it be a training ground for some of the world's next stars at 135 lbs., or will it simply be a new version of The Real World with fighting as the main premise?
