This Friday's main eventer, Travis "Hapa" Brown, will be looking to continue his impressive streak inside the Octagon, this time facing Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva, LIVE on FX in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Speaking pre-fight on Inside MMA, Browne declared that he has his sights on breaking into the highest echelons of the UFC Heavyweight division. Browne spoke about the potential match-ups with Cain Velasquez, Daniel Cormier and Alistair Overeem, once again making it clear that he's in it to win it.

"I think after this fight you gotta put me in the mix with all the contenders. You have Cain Velasquez, Cormier, obviously dos Santos is the champion, Overeem. Then you kinda have guys that are trying to make a name for themselves, trying to get into that number one contender spot. I think that puts me in the mix to start fighting guys like Cormier, Cain, and guys like Overeem as well."

I agree. Joe Rogan put it best "Travis Browne is a dark horse in the division" but I feel after this fight he won't be as under the radar

Browne is solid....would like to see it going to the floor, wondering how he navigates there with a solid grapler in bigfoot.

Browne needs a dominant performance to get the fighters he mentioned.

Feed him to Overeem. That way we know we'll see Reem fight for the championship.

This beast is coming into his prime at a great time. I would love to see him test the Reems suspect chin, thats if the Reem is even a heavyweight anymore after he was forced to stop eating hormone...I mean horse meat.
