Rich Franklin talks about "the overlooked aspects" of Cung Le's game
Posted on October 16, 2012, 06:14 PM by Anton GurevichOn November 10th, former UFC Middleweight champion Rich Franklin will step inside the Octagon to face Cung Le at UFC: Macau. Franklin will be looking to form a winning streak inside the Octagon, after defeating Wanderlei Silva in Brazil.
Last time Franklin had a winning streak in the UFC was back in 2008. Ace then defeated Travis Lutter and Matt Hamill, both via TKO, after his famous rematch with Anderson Silva at UFC 77. Since then, Franklin is the "Ace" of inconsistency with 3 victories and 3 losses inside the Octagon.
UFC: Macau will air on Fuel TV, featuring six main card and so-far-announced four undercard bouts. The event will take place at the monumental CotaiArena, featuring fighters from China, Japan, South Korea, and other Asian countries.

Thank God Rich, got rid of the freaky - dumb and dumber bowl hair cut he had during his last fight.
I also think he will wins this one.
dude, brilliant. he totally looks like jim carey in dumb and dumber. uncanny!
agreed
I think there is a good chance Cung takes this fight. Cote is a better striker that Rich and Cung out struck him, I don't see Franklin taking Cung down and this is Franklin's first fight back at MW. The cut might play a part in this fight. The only way I see Franklin wining is via TKO. Cung does have a somewhat questionable chin IMHO. If Franklin can't get the TKO I think Cung will walk away with a decision and that is how I am calling this fight. Cung Le via decision.
Cote is a better striker than Rich? I would not even say that Cote has better boxing.
I would. Rich hits harder but Cote is the more technical striker. Rich may however be more effective at times because he is more well rounded and gives opponents more to worry about. That said, Cung isn't worried about take downs. Watch, if Franklin wins it will be via stoppage. If not Cung get's the decision.
