Renan Barao vs Urijah Faber Fight Video Highlights
Posted on July 22, 2012, 03:38 AM by itaiaRenan Barao captured the Interim UFC Bantamweight title with a victory over Urijah Faber in the main event of last night's UFC 149 fight card in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Barao dominated the action throughout the fight, issuing Faber another UFC/WEC title fight failure. The Brazilian maverick will now face Dominick Cruz for the undisputed UFC Bantamweight title, most likely in the first quarter or 2013.

Rumor has it faber moved to strikeforce womens and is given an immediate title shot against rousey.I think joe silva REALLY wants faber to have a belt......my moneys on rousey
Cruz better watch out
I'm guessing Cruz was hoping for Faber to win, because deep down he knows he is in for an ASS whooping from Barao.
Cruz has quicker movement, hands, cleaner striking, better wrestling and an experience advantage (fighting elite competition).
Only way I see Barao winning is rocking Cruz and finishing him off with a sub, the only unknown there is really about Cruz.
Prediction: Cruz loses, Cruz and Faber fight, Faber gets YET ANOTHER title shot if he beats Cruz (which I'm not necessarily predicting), Faber loses yet again, Faber joins a circus as a midget clown.
I find almost any fight exciting or at least interesting but god damn this wasn't one of them. Was very hyped for this fight, expected it to be like Cruz Faber 2 but was no where near as good as that.
