Poll: Who Wins Fight Between Ronda Rousey & Cris Cyborg?
It’s the WMMA (women’s mixed martial arts) dream fight that everyone has been talking about, the super fight that the entire mixed martial arts community is dying to see; Ronda Rousey vs. Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino. The feud dates back an age, it’s one of the most heated rivalries ever, let alone WMMA, and they have yet to even get to the stage of being booked in a fight, where the real hype would go in to overdrive.
With Cris Cyborg recently claiming to have been offered the fight with Rousey, although soon after shot down by Dana White, fans of both legendary female stars are left to wait further for the inter-promotion showdown. The most dominant female athlete in the sport today, UFC women’s bantamweight champion and contender crusher Ronda Rousey has said she’ll only fight the former Strikeforce champ and current Invicta FC featherweight boss Cris Cyborg at 135 pounds.
So let’s say the two inevitably meet, Cyborg agrees to cut to 135 pounds, which is starting to become a reality in most fan’s opinions, so who would win? Rousey is the undefeated, undisputed submission queen in MMA, but her stand up skills have evolved massively, her recent 34-second KO of Bethe Correia at UFC 190 is testament to that fact. Justino has crushing knockout power, is unbeaten in 10 years since her debut loss in 2005 and hasn’t seen a judge’s scorecard in seven years.
