Superfights seem to be the main topic in Mixed Martial Arts today, with UFC 154's main eventer, Georges St. Pierre, being involved in at least 2 of them. Jones & overeem, Bendo & gsp will probably happen anyway.. Anderson will handle Gsp due to size difference.. I still don't believe in GSP's chin.. I would rather see Nick diaz vs GSP.. Good boxing and Bjj but no kicks.. Better matchup for gsp. Anderson vs Jones is the winner since they are both on a roll and in different divisions
It's got nothing to do with size. GSP will do as well or better than anyone Silva has faced. He will still lose because Silva is the GOAT but he will do "well".
Nevermind that, it would be one of GSP's easiest fights. If Bendo gets beat by the small Frankie (let's be honest) then GSP will do whatever he wants with him.
Those are the combinations for true super fights: jones x AS, ASx gsp, gsp vs Jones.....those are the only 3 current champs that are dominant and seem to have no challenge left in their own weight classes......Bendo,Overeen,edgar,diaz, they are not by far at this level.....(maybe aldo x cruz and even lower down my scale jds, overeem). Anyway: I would go for AS vs Jones.
best fighter in the world right now is JDS and he is not in the list i say JDS vs Jones or Jones vs Silva.Not mutch sise diference between all 3 of them
Shows the level of respect we have for the lower weight classes. Cruz has defended the 35 belt 3 or 4 times, and Aldo has defended more. Yet, a fight like Ben-GSP (which if were honest is hard to see as competitive), gets a spot in this poll above a superfight between the two.

I concur. I would love to see Aldo V Edgar or Aldo V Cruz. Aldo V Bendo would be good too as would Edgar V Cruz. As a little guy I would love to see those fights. All the real skill is from 155 down with a few notable exceptions. AS beats anyone, at any size, in any era except (by his own admission) Bruce Lee.
Needs a fourth fighter for a tag team match. A free for all would be too confusing. I'm thinking Frankie Edgar and Gilbert Melendez Vs BJ Penn and Eddie Alverez.
I don't think being the 155 champion gets you an immediate title shot at welterweight. There's some stronger fighters at 170 and I'm not so sure Benson could hang in the top 5.
I might be alone here but Id rather see GSP, Silva, and Jones fight 3-4 times a year in their own divisions then a once a year super fight. Theres a few guys each fighter hasnt faced yet that could make some good match ups. Fighters used to go at it 3 times a night now its rare to hit that in a year. What the hell.

The UFC needs to hire someone like Bas Rutten to be a fight matchmaker.
At the moment we have Mrs feminine joe silva in charge who is matching up champions like Silva up with Bonnar, and matching up Chael up with Jones.
bas rutten needs to come in and deliver some liver shots and sort out this shit....
