Former number one contender for the UFC Featherweight title, Erik "New Breed" Koch, suffered his first loss inside the Octagon - a vicious ground-and-pound TKO courtesy of Ricardo Lamas. Koch's face turned into a bloody mess, as the FOX Sports camera quickly concentrated on Ricardo Lamas celebrating his victory, which was also not entirely 'kosher', since The Bully's fight-winning elbow was all covered in blood. Today, Koch made sure his fans know he's 'ok', despite the gruesome injury.

Too bad to see him lose like that, especially since he chose to go to the ground rather than getting taken down. Would have liked to see him stay on the feet rather than play into the hands of such a strong wrestler.

Eric "New Bleed" Koch...joking aside, glad he''s ok. I thought for sure his orbital was broken or worse. That was a pretty vicious elbow destruction.
    Congrats to Lamas.

Never mind him I don't know if I'll ever be okay after witnessing that, it was frightening!

Seriously though, when it happened It looked like all the blood was coming from his actual eye, I was really worried there was some very serious damage but I'm glad to see it was just a extra bloody cut and nothing worse.

@Keith.....I also cringed when I saw that shot.... It looked like a fire hydrant of blood coming straight from his eye. I'm glad he is ok

Lamas has my new found respect, he made Koch look like he had no idea what he was doing in there.
