Phil Davis talks Prado eye-poke, Gustafsson rematch

The fight was ruled a No Contest, after cageside doctors considered Prado's eye injury too severe to let the fight continue. Davis shared his thoughts about the upcoming rematch with the Brazilian, and his future inside the Octagon.

Davis might of beat Gustaf in their first match, but it would be a different story in they fought again. Gustaf was caught in that choke after shooting in for some odd reason on Davis.
Gustafsson has way more natural talent as a fighter, picks things up way better, and was already stuffing everything shot Davis had thrown at him.
Yes I agree Gustafsson has evolved and Phil Davis doesnt look unbeatable like he once did.

Unfortunate eye gouge... really felt bad for Prado. I wonder if there was a misunderstanding with the language barrier. I think he just wanted a couple of minutes to shake it off... then the doc asked if he could see... rest is history.
Davis has no natural talent for stand up, he is way to stiff and does not have speed or power, just a wrestler that finds hard to evolve himself.
People seem to be coming down pretty hard on Davis for this, seems a bit harsh.
