OUCH!: Nate Marquardt tweets images of his destroyed thigh

The key behind Saffeidine's dominance was the ability to deliver super-sharp leg strikes that absolutely destroyed Marquardt's left thigh.
The Great tweeted the results of Saffeidine's work, and all we can say is... OUCH!

Damn I know how Nate managed to cut to 170... his looks are a lot smaller than they used to be. His hand is honestly wider than his calf!
and holy crap his leg was murdered, last time I saw a leg this badass Faber's, only difference was these leg kicks had an extra 30 pounds behind them

One of the things I've always marveled about GSP and IMO, is a huge part of the man's success, is The Champ's thighs. GSP's thighs are enormous for his frame. They are the engine behind his 80% (+) success rate in take-downs. They have to be the thickest thighs in the 170 division and would be one of the biggest sets @ 185. I don't know why more athletes don't focus on thigh development.

There have been alot of guys who have had success deliverying leg kicks. Forrest against Rampage, Aldo vs Faber, Jardine vs Chuck and heavyweight pat barry.
