UFC officials announced that Jamie Varner and Melvin Guillard will face one another at The Ultimate Fighter Finale on December 15 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Both Guillard and Varner are looking to redeem themselves after losing in their previous bouts. Guillard is coming off of an exciting "Fight of the Night" knockout loss to Donald Cerrone at UFC 150. Guillard had the Cowboy stunned early but ended up being on the wrong end of a devastating 1st round knockout. He's 1-3 in his last four fights after being a contender on a five fight winning streak.

Meanwhile, Varner's last fight was also a "Fight of the Night" performance against Joe Lauzon. Varner ended up being submitted in the third round. Prior to the loss, Varner made his return to the UFC with a stunning first round stoppage of Edson Barboza earlier this year.

Thus far, the TUF finale includes Shane Carwin vs. Roy Nelson, Pat Barry vs. Shane Del Rosario and the TUF 16 tournament finale.

Yeah this card is going to be highly entertaining, in terms of title shots and meaning fights this card isn't better than most of the PPV's but entertaining it certainly has a shot. Alot of their TV cards are aimed toward explosive fights.

This should be a great fight, and tough for both guys. I'll pick Jamie by a vag hair, just because of his technical abilities.
