Matt Riddle steps in to face Besam Yousef at UFC 154

With Matt Riddle's suspension for marijuana ending, the welterweight will step up for injured Stephen Thompson and face Besam Yousef at UFC 154 next month.

Riddle was coming off of a "Submission of the Night" bonus against Chris Clements at UFC 149 but had the decision overturned to a "no-decision" when it was found that he failed a post-fight drug test due to marijuana. Aside from the change in result, Riddle was suspended for 90-days. With the suspension ending, Riddle will waste no time getting himself another fight as Thompsen had to withdraw due to an injury.

The fight will be on the Facebook preliminaries on November 17 as Georges St-Pierre faces Carlos Condit in the main event.
