UFC 149: Faber vs. Barao is just around the corner, and it's time to win some awesome prizes from our partners.
Winner of this Saturday's UFC 149 pick'em competition will win a pair of UFC gloves signed by no other than Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, courtesy of Rampage Punch iPhone / Android app.

Hold on, at what point was Rampage ever a Pride champ? I keep seeing this thrown around but I can't find any evidence of it (at least through Wikipedia there is no mention of winning a championship in Pride).
They're referring to when Rampage unified the UFC & Pride belts. Rampage was the UFC Light-Heavyweight champ when he defended his title against Henderson, who was the Pride Middleweight champ at the time.
Ok, but he should still not be called a former 'Pride Champion', makes it sound like he won a championship in Pride which he didn't.
I agree, as the unification bout took place in the octagon. I think it's more of a promo thing for him.
kind of ironic you saying that because Rampage has said before he gets extremely upset and annoyed that the UFC doesn't promote the fact he was the first unified champ.

It has come to the publics knowledge that Shogun Rua declined a fight with Glover Teixeira, your next opponent, because Glover's name isnt big enough. Do you think legends such as yourself and Shogun owe it to the coming up guys to give them a shot against you? Also, are you more motivated for this fight than maybe a fight with Rashad or Bader knowing Glover is going to come in and strike with you rather than hold you down?
