King Mo On Bellator 120 Decision: Rampage Knows I Beat Him, I Want A Motherf—ing Rematch

Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson returned to action last night, and wrapped up this season’s Bellator light-heavyweight tournament with a narrow decision win over Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawall. The decision was sketchy at best, as many fans and Mo believe he in fact won the fight.

In the moments after the match, MMAMania.com caught up with Lawall, and it’s fair to say he was pretty pissed off.

“It’s MMA. If you wanna stand and bang, go to Glory, get knocked out in Glory. If you see the whole fight, we were slipping and sliding. He didn’t touch me with nothing, I just felt slippery on the mat. I’ve had this problem with Bellator, I don’t know maybe it’s the canvas. When I throw a punch, I feel like I’m skating.”

“I feel like he threw some shots, but he didn’t land anything. I got takedowns, landed some ground and pound and a knee to the chest that hurt him. I feel like the second round was a toss-up. Be real, you know I won the fight. The crowd was booing, Rampage asked for a rematch, who wins a fight then asks for a rematch? He knows he lost on ‘Quinton Jackson day’. He knows I won”

Last night’s decision win for Page wasn’t the first disagreeable verdict, and nor will it be the last in MMA. One thing that Lawall can take away is that he fought (kinda) well considering he says the canvas was slippery. Perhaps Bjorn Rebney should pay some attention to Mo’s complaints.

“Bjorn knows I won that fight, keep it real, ya know what I’m saying. He’s just trying to be PC, but let’s be real, keep it real. He touched me with nothing, it might not be pretty but I got the W. I want a motherfucking rematch, I want that belt. MMA is a sport, shit like this is making it a side show.”

I have to admit that ‘sideshow’ and ‘freak show’ were words that sprung to mind regarding Tito Ortiz vs. Alexander Shlemenko, but the decision rendered in the evening’s main event seemed laughable at best. How do you feel about the judge’s decision?
