UFC Heavyweight champion, Junior "Cigano" dos Santos will return to the Octagon on December 29th, facing Cain Velasquez in the main event of UFC 155 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Speaking on MMALive, JDS shared his thoughts about the upcoming scrap with Cain Velasquez, and the previous encounter between the two.

Cigano also discussed his possible encounter with "The Demolition Man" Alistair Overeem, who will finish his suspension in late December. Once again, dos Santos made it clear that he's not a fan of Overeem, but will be more than ready to step inside the cage against the Dutchman:

"Actually, Dana White, the President of the UFC, already said the winner from me and Cain Velasquez is going to fight Alistair Overeem. I don't think he deserves to be fighting for the title because he failed the drug test. But I want to fight this guy because he said a lot of things and I want to fight with the best. If he thinks he's one of them, I want to fight him."

Overeem himself, thinks Cain Velasquez will do well against Junior dos Santos to get his title back. More than that, Overeem hinted that he would choose to wait for the winner of JDS vs. Velasquez, instead of getting himself back inside the cage against another top contender, such as Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva, who recently labeled the multi-time combat sports champion as a "fighter created in laboratory".

Cain's TDs and Wrestling won't even matter in this fight due to the champ's tremendous TDD. Different fight - same result.

Nice looking chick by the way.

I could not disagree more here. Cain came into the last fight looking VERY rusty. I think this will be a close fight and Cain will get at least a few takedowns.

This will be one of two things: Cain getting the takedown and wearing out Junior, getting a decision or a late stoppage; or the same thing as the first fight but probably not as quick

Cain will absolutely destroy Junior Dos Santos in this rematch... No more ring rust, No more coming in over weight, And no more coming off surgery... It will be one awesome fight... Cain wins in less then 3 rounds by TKO with one brutal ground and pound.....And New....

I think Cain has a good shot here but I don't see him destroying JDS. If he wins I see a fairly close decision.

Overeem trying to play mind games with JDS because he fancies his chances against Cain more.

No way man. I see Overeem beating them both but JDS is a much easier fight for him stylistically. Cain will try to take him out of his comfort zone while JDS will stand and trade with him.

It's really hard to predict this fight due to all the injuries last time but of Cain comes like he did against Bigfoot and JDS comes as hard as always.... This should be epic

You know I picked JDS the first time round, but this time I'm going with Cain.

    Future rubber match I sense.

We didnt learn much from their first encounter other than Cain can make mistakes and JDS can capitalise. Rarely are two fights the same and we all know Cain is capable of performing better than he did against JDS so it's interesting. No idea how this will go down but I'd be very surprised if JDS delivers a quick KO again.

These guys are both great fighters and both deserve great respect. I was hoping I could say something negative about JDS since I am a CV fan but I cant. WAR CAIN......
