Joe Rogan Nearly Cried During ‘Special’ Ronda Rousey Interview

Joe Rogan UFC 190 ronda rousey 34 second ko win bethe correia video

UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey continued her run of incredible dominance last night (Saturday August 1st, 2015) with a stunning 34-second knockout over Bethe Correia at UFC 190. Many believed the fight would end quickly, but few expected such a clear-cut striking performance from the ‘Rowdy’ 135-pound queen. Her legitimacy at the top of the division is truly unparalleled.

The win silenced critics once again, but also puts the message out once again; Ronda Rousey is untouchable in the UFC women’s bantamweight class, it’s as simple as that. Unbeaten contenders get squashed like yesterday’s beef, and her brilliance is becoming more apparent with each opponent she obliterates.

One person perhaps more touched than anyone else over Rousey’s performance, which she dedicated to pro wrestling legend Rowdy Roddy Piper, was UFC color commentator Joe Rogan. He says that he was close to tears while interviewing Rousey, as per his Twitter feed:

Twitter exploded in the aftermath of another historic win for ‘Rowdy’ at UFC 190, it seems there is nothing the woman cannot do. With fights against Miesha Tate and Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino once again on the table, expect news of a booking for Rousey in the not too distant.

It would have perhaps been fun to see Joe Rogan shed a tear over Ronda Rousey, but it also illustrates how powerfully alluring her fighting style and emotional aura can be.
