In the first episode of Gaspari Nutrition's Frankie Edgar:155 Reasons series, the former Lightweight champion's coaches praise Edgar's competitive nature and tenacity. His boxing coach explains that Ben Henderson cuts weight to roll BJJ at 180, and cuts a ton to fight at 155 lbs. Because Edgar walks around at 155 lbs., this makes his UFC 150 title fight comparable to Henderson fighting Anderson Silva. Edgar is humble and shows respect for his opponent while retaining his razor-sharp focus on the goal of becoming champion again. Edgar admits that Henderson is very tough to train for because he has a lot of skills and is a huge Lightweight. Edgar shows a ton of maturity in not living in the past and fighting for the present. A great look at a great champion.

One of the coolest guys in the UFC, second best LW of all time and top 5 P4P.

Will be cool to see him get his LW title back.

I agree. Frankie seems like one of the most down-to-earth guys in the UFC. He's so humble and is always looking to improve.

    Second best LW of all-time?

C'mon now dude I like him a lot, but calling him the second best LW of all-time is an extreme stretch.

I wasn't a big fan of Frankie, nor was I a fan of Jersey after that ridiculous show and the few from the northeast that I've met. I guess you can even call me biased, but it wasn't in the favor of Frankie. With that being said, I don't think its extreme, Frankie has finished a hit list for the belt longer than some fighters win columns. That guy didn't earn my respect, he took it, from the fighters that he beat , to the weight he walks around and fights at. They say its not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog and he has that fight in him. He made me a Frankie fan against my will.

I'd like to see Frankie work with Mike Dolce and put on a little muscle and then cut a bit. I know it's not his style but it would give him a more even footing with Henderson

This is gonna be a great fight. Frankie seems to get better with every fight he has win or lose. If he avoids the early damage that he has been taking in has last three fights, I think he can wear Henderson down. With that being said Henderson's size, strength, and striking make him a force for anyone.
