The war of words continues between UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor and UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez as we get closer to UFC 205. McGregor attempts to make history and hold two titles at once when he fights Alvarez for the UFC lightweight title in the main event of UFC 205.

McGregor is using his money well as he is using that cash to elevate his training to all new heights. McGregor posted a photo of himself doing cardio training on his official Instagram account recently. He boasted while on a stationary bike that “something big is coming.”

“You are about to be introduced to a method of training that will lead you to require multiple opponents in constant rotation, just to keep up with you. You have no idea about this life. Something big is coming. #TheMacLife.”

Alvarez saw the post and took to Twitter to let McGregor know he’ll need more than cardio to beat him when fight night comes.

“improving Cardio Wtf !! haha Are we doing the Tour de France or We fist fighting ? #itsallOver #guysridingbikes No “History just “My”story.”

Unlike McGregor’s last fight with Nate Diaz at UFC 202, he usually finishes his fights quickly and is not used to going 25-minutes, so it’s smart that he is increasing his cardio game going into a fight with the experienced Alvarez.
