Diego Brandao Injured, TUF Brazil 3 Finale Fight With Brian Ortega Scrapped

The injury curse has struck again for the TUF Brazil 3 Finale, this time it’s Diego Brandao that bites the bullet. An undisclosed injury has forced Brandao from his featherweight scrap against debuting Brian Ortega, and a replacement fighter for the undefeated Ortega was not looked for, instead he has been pulled from the card.

The event took it’s first blow when Wanderlei Silva vs. Chael Sonnen was moved to UFC 175, and was further damaged when Junior dos Santos was scratched from the main event with Stipe Miocic-also due to an injury. ‘Cigano’ was replaced by Fabio Maldonado in the evening’s main, and the embattled card soldiers on with a thrown together headliner and nine more fights to accompany it.
