I like the idea of the guy that wins most impressively out of the main event and co main event gets the title shot, One thing that stood out though was that Dana said who ever that is gets a shot at Johnny Bones Jones, did I miss his title defense against Hendo already?
Guess its clear how much faith Dana has in Henderson. Pretty sure he's only fighting Jones for the payout it will bring. He barely beat Shogun and couldn't knock him after landing what Ill bet will be much more shots than he's going to land against Jones.
that's what im talkin about.....i totally love it Dana, whoever has the best performance in the comain and main event deserves the shot....sry vera, winning the double lottery comes with a price, fkn war!!!!! lol
mmm thats even worst.... wiinner from main even vs winner of co mail and then see who gets the title shot... Machina is definitely Knocking Bader, and hopefully Shogun is 100% and gets a 2 round TKO and a Shogun vs Machida would be better to decide the title contender..
It should be if Machida or Shogun wins impressively then THEY get the title shot. Although a win over either of them by Vera or Bader would be huge, they just aren't deserving
so Shogun losing most his recent fights deserves a shot but if Vera knocks him out its worth nothing?
Seeing as how him getting a KO would be even more impressive go ahead and give him the shot, neither guy will beat Jones anyway so let the guy who makes the fans jump out of their seat have a reward.
The last fight that he won, he KO'd Machida for the title. He lost to Jones, (and according to you that was inevitable) and then got fight of the year in a close decision loss. Machida lost to Shogun after beating him once and then lost to Jones. So explain why 1 out of 4 Vera or one punch wrestler Bader should get the shot just because Shogun or Machida have a bad night. It's not so much my opinion, just realistic mathematics
Well if Machida and Shogun are that good then why shouldnt the guys that beat them (if its convincingly) get the shot that the guy they just knocked out was going to have? Thats realistic math. Dont get me wrong I would never put money on Vera but if hes good enough to KO Shogun....
Totaly right, i want to see teixera vs jones!
Chris weidman has to be looking good right now for a title shot in the middleweight division if Brandon vera is in the mix now for a Light heavyweight title fight should he win convincingly.
Dana White is going to be offering drunk cab drivers title shots soon !
Great call on the who wins in fashion gets the title shot. Wish it was always like this, then there wouldn't be so much boring wrestling.
